There is insufficient oxygen draft coming into the burner to keep the tea candle burning to heat the charcoal and incense.

Bought this for a friend on Christmas she loves it!

This may look small, dainty or cheap but it isn’t! It’s the highest quality I’ve bought on Amazon. It’s sturdy, lovely small weight to it, BEAUTIFUL design and a lovely brass like finish and gloss. It’s not a net like other resin burners so it’ll never tarnish and burn through after moderate use. It’s big enough to place larger coals in though nothing huge. It handles are amazing as well; making it completely mobile and safe to carry. Would recommend and buy again! The tongs are amazing as well but could be a bit wider. Otherwise perfect gift and set.
